Man hurls himself onto car windscreen, demands compensation

A man has been filmed bizarrely running up and hurling himself onto the windscreen of a car in the middle of a Singapore road.

Dashcam footage from driver Terry Loo’s car shows the man standing on the road in the eastern Pasir Ris district on Sunday afternoon, Channel News Asia reports.

Mr Loo pulls his car to a stop but the man then starts to sprint towards the car before leaping directly onto the bonnet.

The man reportedly complained to the driver about his injuries and demanded compensation.

Singapore police arrested the 35-year-old man - who they allege was drunk - for “committing a rash act” and said investigations are continuing.

Mr Loo posted footage of the incident on Facebook, saying, “This happened to me on farm way 2 … crazy.”
