Man discovers ghostly 'ice car' in Canada

Strange sights begin to crop up when temperatures plummet below minus 40 degrees.

Jace Patkai was walking through a carpark in Canada’s Ontario province last week when he came across a “new, top-secret ice coating”.

Looking like the wispy remains of a ghost car, the icy imprint shows the outline of a bonnet with the detail so clear Mr Patkai could even make out the vehicle’s make – a Nissan.

Mr Patkai filmed the discovery and submitted it to The Weather Network.

Authorities in Ontario issued extreme cold weather warnings last week as temperatures hit between minus 30-40 degrees once the wind chill factor came into play.
