Man charged after interrupting news cross with obscenities

A US man who interrupted a live cross with a news reporter and yelled obscenities has been charged with lying to police about the incident, which occurred last Friday.

Eighteen-year-old Tyrone Parker was charged with falsifying police reports after denying any involvement in the incident, which was broadcast live to the local area, before admitting that he had grabbed reporter Stacy Lange's arm and yelled obscenities into the microphone.

The Pennsylvania college student went back to his dorm room after the student, which is where police found him.

There has been a series of offensive interruptions of news crosses in the US where people yell a specific sexually explicit direction, which we will not repeat here. 

It's unclear whether he has been released on bail or remains in custody at this stage.
