Man bitten on penis by snake on toilet

A Thai man has been rushed to hospital after being bitten on the penis by a huge python while sitting on the toilet.

Atthaporn Boonmakchuay, 38, was relieving himself when the 3.3 metre-long snake struck, clamping its jaws on the tip of his penis, Bangpakong News reports.

His wife tried to help as he thrashed around trying to get it off.

Mr Boonmakchuay then reportedly tied a rope around the snake’s head and attached the end to the door handle. It was then able to be yanked off.

He was rushed to hospital having suffered massive blood loss.

Emergency crews later forced the python out of pipes under the toilet by using hammers to smash it free.

The reptile was placed in a bag and released back in the wild unharmed.

The nasty incident happened in Chachoengsao, 90km east of capital Bangkok.

Mr Boonmakchuay is recovering in hospital in a stable condition, with his penis still intact and in working order.
