Man avoids imminent head on smash after driver swerve

Sharp reflexes have saved a man from a high speed, head-on collision after a car in front swerved to reveal a driver with a deathwish bearing down in the wrong lane.

The man was cruising down a freeway in Russia on Monday evening when the car in front was suddenly forced to swerve off the highway onto some grass.

To his horror, the sudden swerve reveals a car speeding towards him, with seemingly no intention of braking or moving.

He manages to avoid the full impact of the car, but is still sideswiped as it hoons by.

The bewildered driver immediately pulls over, with two men coming to his aid.

It is unknown whether any charges were pressed.
