Man 'asked Siri where to dump roommate's body' after alleged murder

A man accused of killing his roommate reportedly asked iPhone's digital assistant 'Siri' where to hide the body after the murder.

Pedro Bravo, 20, is accused of killing Christian Aguilar, 18, in 2012 after their friendship fell apart because Mr Aguilar began dating Bravo's ex-girlfriend.

New evidence presented at Bravo's trial shows the student asked his Siri for help in dumping Mr Aguilar's body on the same day the biomedical engineer disappeared.

"I need to hide my roommate", Bravo asked, to which Siri replied: "What kind of place are you looking for?"

Siri then presented Bravo a list of places: "Swamps. Reservoirs. Metal foundries. Dumps."

Mr Aguilar's body was found by hunters buried in a shallow grave in a rural part of Levy County, Florida.

Data from Bravo's iPhone also shows the flashlight app was activated nine times over a period of 48 minutes during the time police allege he was hiding Mr Aguilar's body.

Detectives also say that location data obtained from Bravo's iPhone does not match what he told police regarding his movements on the day following Mr Aguilar's disappearance.

Bravo is facing seven charges, which include homicide, kidnapping, poisoning and mishandling human remains.
