Man allegedly refuses breath test after crashing ute into roof of Port Macquarie house
Police are investigating how a ute came to crash into the roof of a home in Port Macquarie, on the New South Wales mid-north coast last night.
Emergency services were called to the house about 9.30 pm to find the 38-year-old driver of the car still trapped in his ute.
It took about 25 minutes for NSW Ambulance paramedics, Fire and Rescue NSW and State Emergency Services personnel to free the driver.

A 62-year-old man was inside the home when the ute came crashing into the roof but he was not injured.
Police said the car crashed into a safety barrier and boundary fence before flying through the air and landing on the home's roof.
NSW Police said in a statement it would be alleged that the driver refused to undergo a breath test.
The man was arrested by officers from the Mid North Coast Police District and taken to Port Macquarie Hospital to undergo a blood test where he was later released pending further inquiries.
