ISIL training children in murder through hide and seek

Children no older than eight are being used by ISIL in horrifying hide and seek 'games' where they search for bound prisoners in a maze before shooting them dead.

New footage released by ISIL shows child recruits as they are handed a pistol and a balaclava by an instructor before they begin to hunt down the prisoners.

The children search through labyrinth-like corridors, reportedly filmed in the historic al-Rahba castle in the remote Dei ezzor province in Syria.

When the helpless prisoners are found, their hands tied behind their backs, they are shot mercilessly.

None have a chance to escape.

The prisoners are described as "sons of Jews" in the video and accused of spying for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

As horrifying as the video is, it is not the first time the terrorist group has released propaganda footage showing how they are training child killers.

In March a child executed a man accused of being an Israeli spy by shooting him in the head.
