Instagram working again after worldwide outage
Some Instagram users across the world were met with error messages this morning, as the social media platform experienced a worldwide outage.
The outage affected users across the world and lasted over an hour from 8.20am (AEST) before the service returned to regular operation.
No other information was provided by Instagram about the cause of the outage or how many users were affected.

Some Instagram users worldwide were unable to access the app due to an outage. Nine
Facebook, which is also owned by Meta, was unaffected by the outage.
Twitter was also operating normally, with thousands of people flocking to the rival platforms to check on the outage.
Besides being used for sharing photos, Instagram is used by millions as a messaging service and by businesses across the world.
Instagram has previously issued apologies after their outages were reported worldwide.
Another outage lasting several hours happened in early March.
