Hurricane sends man holding onto tent flying
A Russian man holding onto a tent was sent flying into the air when a powerful hurricane swept through the south of the country yesterday causing chaos.
Video of the terrifying moment was uploaded online and shows two men in the city of Sevastopol straining to keep hold of the outdoor shelter in the midst of heavy rain and freakishly strong winds.
The men manage to withstand several gusts before a huge blast lifts the tent and one of them clear off the ground.
Much to the horror of those around him, the man is sent hurtling straight into a concrete set of stairs.
He is clearly injured but manages to walk away with the help of those who rushed to his aid.
Russian news channel 1TV reports the hurricane caused widespread damage, flooding more than 800 homes and leaving hundreds of thousands without power.
