How would you react? Immigrant asks strangers to read out racist Facebook post about him

A Lithuanian social experiment has tested racial boundaries by asking several strangers to translate a racist Facebook post for an African immigrant.

In the video an immigrant man of African descent sits on a couch and reads from an iPad, before speaking to the apparently unwitting participants who sit alongside him.

The man asked each individual, including a child, to translate a message posted to his Facebook wall.

All of the participants were stunned by the derogatory comment, with some agreeing to translate the racist post while most chose not to.

The experiment, launched by the Lithuanian Centre for Human Rights, was created to raise awareness about online discrimination and where to turn if you encounter something similar.

The clip has caused mixed reactions online with some YouTube users saying the campaign is highlighting a problem that does not exist in Lithuania, while others praised the experiment.
