Head-cam footage shows policeman opening fire from motorcycle during dramatic pursuit
You could easily be mistaken for thinking this incredible point-of-view footage of a police motorcycle pursuit was a scene from a video game, but it’s not.
A police helmet camera has captured a dangerous high-speed chase through a South African town, in which the officer hunts down a fleeing red sedan, sirens blaring.
The policeman fires numerous shots at the car from his motorbike as they wind through the dusty dirt road which is narrowly lined by homes.
The gripping video, posted to Facebook by South Africa’s Intelligence Bureau, was labelled as “just another day” for their law enforcement members.
“Awesome (FPB) First Person Viewer Footage,” the video is captioned.
“And you thought your job was hectic!”
After a sustained pursuit, the assailant’s car - windows blown-out from the impact of the bullets - eventually skids out of control and the suspect is arrested.
The Facebook clip has generated more than 55,000 views and 2,200 shares in just 12 hours.
