Ghostbusters’ Marshmallow Man ‘smashes’ through UK train station
Commuters passing through London’s Waterloo Station yesterday were greeted with a spooky surprise, when the Ghostbusters’ Marshmallow Man smashed its way through the floor.
The giant installment on the busy train station’s floor was a publicity stunt for the new blockbuster movie remake of Ghostbusters, which stars Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.
Hundreds of commuters took the opportunity to snap a selfie with the famous character, with some using the hashtag #ghostbusterswaterloo.
As well as playing host to the giant Marshmallow Man, the station was also adorned with green slime.
There was also a pop-up Ghostbusters shop, where fans could pick up merchandise.
The movie reboot has been meet with surprisingly popular reviews, after earlier setting a record for the most disliked trailer in Youtube history.
It is due to be released in Australia on Thursday.
