Furious Chinese driver turns rear-ender into head-on collision
A traffic bingle in China last week became a minature destruction derby when a driver's anger boiled over.
The incident, which happened last week in Xiaolan Town, in south China’s Guangdong Province, started when a Volkswagen pulled in front of another vehicle, only to suddenly slam on the brakes.
Although he tried to stop, the driver of the dashcam-equipped car behind couldn't avoid crunching into the VW's bumper, incensing its driver, who proceeded to leap out of the car and stomp on the other fellow's bonnet.
So far, so extreme – but the aggrieved party's overreaction was far from finished. He then got back into the VW, spun it around at the intersection, and then came roaring back down the lane to smash into the dashcam driver's car.
Still not satisfied, the fellow then backed up and rammed the vehicle several more times, apparently until he felt sufficient damage had been done.
As CCTV reports, police are investigating the incident, for which both men have apologised.
