French authorities foil terror attack in central city of Orleans, interior minister says

Two men have reportedly been arrested over a foiled terror attack in the French city of Orleans.

The two men, aged 20 and 24, were suspected of planning to carry out an attack on police and army personnel, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said.

Both were believed to have been in contact with a third Frenchman based in Syria who was organising the plot.
