Driver straps live chicken and ducks to car

A car has been filmed travelling along a highway with live ducks and a chicken attached to the boot in China.

The footage taken yesterday by another driver shows the poultry attached to the vehicle with tape and plastic bags in China's Guangdong Province, CCTV reported.

While the chicken appears fairly secure on the roof of the vehicle, the ducks, which are sitting in bags with the heads poking out are left swaying from side to side.

Local officials said it was not the first time commuters has carried animals in such a way but warned the transportation of poultry and other live animals in this manner is illegal.
