Speedy dog zips ahead of runner to 'win' high school sports race in USA
A speedy dog has emerged from nowhere to 'win' a high school sports race in the USA.
The plucky hound appeared during the last leg of the race, in Utah.
Logan High School student Grace Laney was about to cross the finishing line when she heard somebody gaining pace behind her.
But it turned out to be not a fellow athlete, but a speedy dog called Holly - who just tipped her to win.

"At first, I thought it was another runner and I was surprised because we had a pretty good lead," she told KSL.
"As it got closer, I thought, 'That's too small to be a person,' and then I noticed it was a dog.
"When the dog crossed in my lane, I was afraid that I was going to trip over it, and then I was worried that I was going to spike it with my spikes."
US sports website, Mile Split, which shared the video, said: "This doggo may have dropped the best anchor leg you'll see today."
