David Hasselhoff releases action-packed music video for Kickstarter campaign

“The Hoff” is back, releasing a music video for Kickstarter movie Kung Fury - and it’s jam-packed with 80’s nostalgia.

The music video clip titled “True Survivor” was made by the Swedish film production company Lampray and features dinosaurs, arcade-robots, vikings, The Hoff doing the splits and even Hitler.

The over-the-top action comedy Kung Fury is about a super kung fu-cop who also goes by the same name, Kung Fury.

Due to a limited budget the production company use a greenscreen backdrop to shoot most of the scenes.

The film reached its Kickstarter goal in four weeks, delighting the cast and crew .

It is set for release in May this year.

Social media went into a frenzy after the music video made its way online and even Dallas Buyers Club actor Jared Leto expressed his nostalgia posting, “ Say THANK YOU for putting this in your life.”
