Illegal bridge climbers capture selfie high above the clouds

Amateur daredevils have captured the moment they climbed hundreds of metres above the ground to take a selfie above Turkey.

The clip was posted online by Pavel Smirnov and Ozcan Ipar who call themselves urban climbers - and the pair clearly do not have a fear of heights.

The pair appear to be scaling a crane on top of a bridge they claim is close to 350m above the ground.

While they don’t reveal the name of the bridge, online viewers suggest it appears to be the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge in Istanbul, which is listed online at 320m.

Shockingly, once the risk-takers reached the top they paused to take a selfie on top of the crane.

Despite the obvious dangers involved the fearless duo have posted several videos on YouTube.
