Dad swears as son buys him his dream car

If you can overlook the swearing, this video shows a beautiful moment between a father, a son and a car.

Since he was a boy, US man Larry Benson had dreamed of owning a 1953 Hudson Hornet, the car he grew up with and learned to drive in.

In a video uploaded to YouTube this week, Dr Benson even gets misty-eyed describing the classic automobile to an interviewer he believes is from a motoring blog.

But unbeknownst to the doctor, the video was actually being filmed as part of a surprise organised by his son Aaron.

The younger Mr Benson spent countless hours tracking down a 1953 Hornet online, before parking it in his father's garage to surprise him.

The response was not as family-friendly as he may have expected.

"Holy f---," Dr Benson says when seeing the car, clearly in complete shock.

"Really?"

Dr Benson's tears well up as he embraces his son, before taking the dream car for a spin.

The video is reminiscent of another heartwarming moment, when a son bought his dad a 1957 Chevrolet as a birthday present in June.
