Russian cyclist cheats death twice in seconds

A Russian cyclist cheated death yesterday when an out of control car missed him by inches before the truck it had just collided with knocked him off his bike and tipped over.

The rider was leisurely traversing a pedestrian crossing at a quiet intersection in Moscow's Lyubertsy district and watching the truck when a red Mazda 3 came tearing down the street in the opposite direction.

Moments later the truck collides with the back end of the Mazda which goes spinning towards the cyclist and misses him by inches.

The truck driver then loses control and crashes into the front wheel of the bike, knocking down the rider before tipping over on the side of the road.

Moments later the dazed cyclist gets up and after taking a few deep breaths rushes to help the trucker from his vehicle.

Amazingly no one was seriously injured in the smash.
