Crazy video captures car sent flying in the air over a roundabout in Poland

A roundabout has catapulted a tiny hatchback sky high in a traffic video which has now gone viral.

In rural Poland, the Suzuki Swift is seen in the CCTV security video driving at speed into a roundabout, which acted like a giant ramp, sending the vehicle several metres into the air.

The car destroyed road signs as it whizzed over the roundabout.

Off camera, the car landed into a building owned by a church. According to Polish news reports, the 41-year-old driver was removed from the wreck and hospitalised, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Fortunately no-one else was injured in the accident.
