Polish couple holidaying in Portugal fall over cliff taking selfies

A Polish couple's holiday has ended in tragedy after they reportedly fell off a cliff taking selfies on Saturday.

The couple, vacationing in Cabo da Roca, Portugal, were next to the edge of the cliff near their children when they went over the brink.

The children are in the care of Polish diplomats and have received counselling.

An attempt to retrieve the couple's bodies was initially abandoned, but both bodies were eventually recovered the next day. 

The couple's deaths come a week after a Mexican veterinarian Oscar Aguilar killed himself posing for selfies with a handgun pointed at his head.
