Conor McGregor fans surprised by their hero on Dublin street

Three young Irish men had a hilarious and unexpected meeting with MMA star Conor McGregor after impersonating his ring tactics on a Dublin street.

The minds of Jason Cooney, Patrick Lavelle and Mick Groarty were blown when McGregor stopped his Cadillac Escalade after noting their antics on the street, as The Sun reports.

Video of the chance encounter shows two of the men re-enacting McGregor's ring tactics, imitating his fighting stance and performing some of his kicks.

In a moment of perfect timing, one of the men shouts the Irish fighter's famous phrase "You'll do nothing" as the Cadillac Escalade stops next to them.

One of the young men goes over to the vehicle and on discovering the fighter is sitting inside on the far passenger seat bursts into laughter.

He is joined by his friend and McGregor gives them a fist pump and some words of encouragement before driving off.

The three men were at a Christmas party for a fitness business that helps people move in a pain-free way.
