Conor McGregor assault case postoned

UFC fighter Conor McGregor has been remanded on continuing bail after he appeared in court over an alleged incident in a pub in Dublin.

The case has been adjourned for three weeks.

McGregor, 31, appeared at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday morning.

He faces a charge of assaulting a man on April 6 at Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh, where McGregor was promoting his brand of whisky.

Solicitor Michael Staines asked for the case to be adjourned to November 1.

McGregor is expected to either make a plea or to contest the charge on that date.
