Christmas parking attendant embraces the dark side

A car park attendant in Texas has embraced the dark side of the force while directing motorists in a busy car park in the lead-up to Christmas.

The unidentified worker, wearing a fluoro vest over a red shirt, was seen dangling a red stick to direct cars on Saturday in Euless, Texas.

The manner in which he was using the stick drew comparisons to the evil characters in Star Wars - whose red lightsabers signify they have embraced the 'dark side' of the force.

The parking attendant is filmed performing several acrobatic manoeuvres with the red-stick in his hand, swinging it like a Jedi would a lightsaber.

After debating with himself for a few seconds as to whether he will go and say something to the man, the video's uploader, Garrett Robinson, then gets out of his car to speak with him.

"Thank you, sir," Mr Robinson said. "You're doing this world a service."

The man then flashes a cheeky grin into the camera as he continues going about his jedi gymnastics.
