Robber's bullet misses US store worker by just centimetres

A bullet missed a Florida shop worker by just centimetres during a convenience store hold up.

The Hillsbrorough County Sheriff's Office in the US state has released video of Sunday's robbery which shows how close the store clerk came to being hit by the bullet.

CCTV shows two armed men, one carrying a revolver and the other a semi-automatic pistol, entering the Riverview store, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

One pointed his revolver at the worker who stood behind the counter with this hands up while the second assailant stole cigarillos.

As they make their getaway from the store, video shows a gun flash erupt from the revolver being pointed by one of the suspects at the worker.

The bullet hits the wall just centimetres above the right shoulder of the store worker.

The suspects, described by authorities as white or Hispanic in appearance, then drove away in a car parked outside the store.
