It's a smorgasbord on Arkansas highways, with the third food spill in as many weeks.

A truck driver distracted by a GPS unit crashed near a highway intersection at Camden early Monday and spilled a truckload of spaghetti sauce.

It comes after a tanker filled with bourbon crashed on Interstate 40 in eastern Arkansas on August 2.

Then on Interstate 30 motorists had to leave the highway at Little Rock after a truck accident left frozen pizzas scattered about on August 9.

Camden Police Sargeant Cory Sanders said the truck carrying spaghetti sauce was headed to Dallas about 3am when its driver became distracted.

The driver then overcorrected and rolled over after crossing the centre line of the highway. Sanders said the driver suffered minor injuries.
