Boeing passenger jet catches fire after landing in Peru

A Boeing 737-300 jet with 141 passengers on board has caught on fire after landing on a runway in Peru.
Dramatic photos and video show the Peruvian Airlines jet surrounded by flames and smoke at the Francisco Carle Airport in Jauja.
All passengers have been evacuated from the plane safely, the airline said in a statement.

The plane skidded on the runway during landing and turned on its right side, the statement read.
"The high professionalism of our cabin crew prevented a major incident."
