Baseballer shanks shot into mum's camera

Filming a child playing sport is a regular weekend pastime for most parents.

But the act of pride can have its pitfalls - as one baseball mum found out recently.

Filming her son, Trey, at the batting plate during a Little League match, Leanne Gordon recorded her very own 'Funniest Home Videos' moment, when the seven-year-old shanked his shot straight into the camera lens.

Leanne was filming from left of the field when Trey's swipe flew into foul territory, knocking the camera from her hands on impact.

"Oh," screamed the shocked mum, as she dropped the camera. "How funny. My own son hit me."

While Leanne was left to cry foul, the camera was undamaged and at least gave her a funny video moment to cherish for years.
