Magnitude 7.0 earthquake hits off coast of Indonesia

A magnitude 7.0 earthquake has hit off the coast of Abepura in Indonesia.

Warning centres say the quake was not significant enough to cause a tsunami threat.

The underwater quake hit 234km from the city of Abepura.
