Argentinean student dodges glass ceiling as it falls

A split second separated an Argentinean student and his possible death when the glass ceiling above him suddenly fell.

Heart-stopping CCTV showed university student Pablo Onocko trying to force shut the door of his apartment building at 10pm last Wednesday night in Resistencia in the country's north.

The video shows a security guard look up and dash for cover as Mr Onocko frantically rushes in the other direction.

Mr Onocko loses his footing and falls, landing just clear of where a massive pane of glass from the ceiling lands and shatters.

"The world stopped for a second to me," he told Las Brenas Digital.

He escaped with just minor injuries.

The near-miss took place during a major storm in the city which felled trees and shattered windows.
