Arrogant Mercedes driver refuses to stop for ambulance

The driver of a black convertible has gone to breathtakingly selfish lengths to prove himself king of the road after stubbornly refusing to give way to an ambulance.

Livid ambulance drivers in Slovakia were filmed racing to a hospital in Tencin in the country’s west a few days ago when they came up behind the black Mercedes, Topky.sk reports.

Despite blaring its siren, the driver of the Mercedes refuses to pull over and let the ambulance pass.

Instead the driver begins to act like he’s a race car driver, flooring the accelerator and weaving in and out of traffic that has pulled over for the ambulance.

Over several minutes the Mercedes repeatedly crosses double lines and breaks countless other road rules, all with the aim of staying in front of the ambulance.

When the medics finally manage to pull over beside the driver, they deliver their parting shot, telling him they have the incident on camera which they’ll be handing over to police.
