‘No way’: Fren Family back out of outrageous holiday first after 9 years on air
With nine seasons under their belt, the Fren Family are usually up to try anything on hit show Travel Guides.
But during an Ireland special, their first holiday of 2026, mum Cathy had to think twice about one holiday activity – jumping feet first into the wild North Atlantic Ocean!

Kicking off their first of many trips of 2026, the Frens found themselves at the rugged Connemara coastline during the Guides' spectacular trip to Ireland.

Awaiting them was an activity that involved "hiking, climbing, scrambling, getting into the ocean and swimming in white water waves" a.k.a coasteering.
"So, all the things we hate mixed into one. Beautiful," replied a nervous Veronica.
Cathy geared up and braced herself to traverse the rocky shoreline before her.

"There is no way in this world I am going to be able to do this activity," she reacted. "I am going to die today."
As for which Fren member took the terrifying plunge first?

"Victoria, you blew my mind away," Mark proudly reacted.

But the Frens weren't the only ones who were hesitant about the activity.
"I'm not going to lie I'm a little bit nervous," echoed fellow Guide Bri.
"But we're only in Ireland once, right?"
If only bestie Karly was feeling the spontaneity.
"I just don't think it's appropriate to be jumping in the water, in the ocean, when the weather is like that," she initially protested.
Is there anything more thrilling? Nine
"Not just any ocean, but the Atlantic Ocean which is one of the coldest oceans in the world!" explained Bri.

This isn't the first time the Guides have had to face their fears. While in New York Kevin and Teng faced a terrifying 400 metre city climb, while the Frens faced a spooky gaol ghost in Maitland, NSW.
