Todd Woodbridge receives unexpected message while filming jackpot win on Tipping Point Australia
Australian-Canadian player Ryan arrived with a very important message for Tipping Point Australia's Todd Woodbridge.
Ryan, an Aussie who recently returned to live in Mooloolaba after moving to Canada when he was nine, usually watched the show with his nan Sandra – who insisted he delivered a message to the host.
"She wants to congratulate you on your Logie," the 25-year-old told Todd.
"G'day Sandra, thank you for that," Todd smiled.

Ryan soon found himself in the Jackpot round, where nan's voice once again popped into his head.

Needing to place the Jackpot Counter in the machine, Ryan remembered "Nan said she'd kill me if I didn't go [Drop Zone] one or four", and we don't want that so of course, he chose one.
Sandra turned out to be Ryan's lucky charm, as he sailed through to an incredible natural win of the $20,000 Jackpot.

While his plan was to take his mates to Vegas, his mum in the studio raced down with a different thought.
"Oh I'm so proud, but you're not going to Vegas," she laughed.
"Mum just said 'you're not going to Vegas but I've got a feeling that you might be," Todd reacted.

After his win, Ryan called Tipping Point superfan Sandra – but played a cruel prank!
"I didn't do good. I screwed up a couple of the questions at the start," he began.
"...Just kidding, I won 20 grand baby!"
Unsurprisingly, his nan was a little suspicious after that.
"I don't know ... put your mother on," she replied.
Ryan said he gave Sandra a shoutout and delivered her message to Todd, and she didn't even believe him about that.
"You're not kidding me now?" she said.
But it eventually sank in. Sort of.
"Oh that's so wonderful," Sandra reacted to her grandson's win.
However, her advice was to "put [the money] away" – so her opinion may change when she learns of his big Vegas dreams!
