Rozelle home with no bathroom or kitchen, price guide over $1.25m

After sitting vacant for 17 years, this dilapidated two-bedder, with no bathroom or kitchen, has been listed with a price guide of $1.25 million.
The owner's parents bought the home 60 years ago, as part of his inheritance.
In 2000, he ripped out the kitchen and took-up the carpets in preparations for a renovation and had intentions of moving into the property, but his circumstances changed, agent Monique Dower of Belle Property Balmain told Realestate.com.au.
"Given its location and potential, I think it will attract a broad range of buyers, including renovators, first home buyers, owner-occupiers, builders and investors," she said.
First home buyers interested in this property will have to have a big inheritance from the bank of Mum and Dad, considering the home is unliveable and in need of a full renovation.
Given that the owner is set to make over a million dollars and avoided the stressful renovating experience, he's done well to strike while the Sydney property market is hot.
