Professional cleaner reveals the products and tools she's got in her cleaning kit

Cleaning is a household chore you can't avoid and many of us dream of being able to have a professional come in and do it from time to time.

While the dream of hiring a cleaner isn't really in the budget for a lot of us, stealing their tips is the next best thing.

Kacie Stephens, owner of Melbourne-based cleaning company The Big Clean Co., has revealed the items and products she uses daily in her job on TikTok. The best part is they're all things you can pick up at the supermarket or hardware store, meaning this side of cleaning won't break the bank.

"I'm a professional cleaner and today I am taking you on a tour through my cleaning kit," Kacie said in the video.

Kacie started with the vacuum cleaner. "We use a Pullman or a Henry Vacuum — size and suction are great," she said.

Kacie went on to pull out microfibre cloths, a good glass cloth for polishing and shining and a duster you can extend.

Next she grabbed a bottle of dishwashing liquid from the caddy, a citrus all-purpose spray, and then explained she also uses a non-toxic and biodegradable glass cleaner that is also safe on marble.

"Grout cleaner — listen, you don't need to use this every time, just on a deep clean," she said. "You can get away with dishwashing liquid and just a little bathroom kit, a jug, a variety of brushes, a magic eraser and a squeegee."

Kacie held up a bottle of cream cleaner and said any brand will do. She explained the product is great for cleaning and shining your sink, which she has also demonstrated in a previous TikTok.

She uses not one but two different mops. "We love the string mop, but the flat mop is great as well, especially for high gloss tiles," she said.

To make mop water Kacie uses eucalyptus oil and a natural pH floor cleaner.

The last thing she pulled out of the kit was toilet cleaner.

Kacie's followers loved the informative video and thanked her for letting them in on her cleaning tips and tricks too.

"I'm building my first home and have no idea how to clean so I'm making notes of your videos! Thank you for the tips," commented on TikToker.

Another commented, "You're brilliant."
