Mum's quick and easy hack for cleaning a burnt iron
British mum Rebecca Harris read about the unusual cleaning tip online and was curious to see if it would work, so decided to give it a try.
The mum, from Somerset, filmed her attempt at cleaning her iron with a paracetamol tablet and was amazed by the results.
She used tweezers to make sure she didn't burn herself on the hot iron and dragged the tablet, which can, which can be bought for as little as $1.99 from Chemist Warehouse, across the burnt patches.

The clever hack can be a quick and easy way to keep your iron clean at home and despite being a bit dangerous, the results speak for themselves.
"I was extremely amazed it worked," the 36-year-old said.
"A lot of people are shocked by it, but it's quick and easy to do and paracetamol is so cheap."
