The pre-lit Christmas tree mums are loving that's just $99

Aldi’s pre-lit Christmas tree is causing a stir among time-poor mums (read: all mums) who have no time to wrangle knotted bunches of Christmas lights and boxes of decorations.
The Aldi Christmas tree in question is a $99 sell-out item, with people across Australia trying to get their hands on the time-saving yet pretty faux fir.
Having lights which never need to be untangled is a God-send at the busiest time of year, but that's not all. The Christmas tree is also already laden with a range of different baubles and decorations, a massive plus – and extra part of the frenzy surrounding the tree.
Mums have taken to social media groups to share their love for the tree, with one stating “Best $100 I’ve spent.” Others were sharing snaps of their set up at home.
One Mum showed how the tree works for indecisive families.
“My Aldi prelit tree, I like the white lights, hubby likes the coloured and I'm sure the grand kids will too,” she says, adding that with “just a push of the button [you can] change [colours] or you can have them change automatically between the two.”

But Aldi’s pre-lit Christmas tree isn’t the only tree getting rave reviews.
Jingle Jolly's rep-lit Christmas tree from Catch.com.au has been a huge hit, at $149.

One mother posted a photo of her red and glittering tree (above right) and was promptly flooded with compliments, from “Wow. That’s stunning. Really nicely done 😊” to “superb” and “NOW THAT'S A TREE!”
Both cult Christmas trees also fold down easily until next year.
