Sheep Herding for City Dogs

John Borg has a natural gift for communicating with working dogs. It was with the help of one special pup, "Maddie" - his constant shadow - that John learned how to trust and respect his dogs and as a complete novice was awarded first place at many sheep herding competitions.

It prompted him to open his facility where he invites dog owners to bring their city dogs to use their natural instincts to herd sheep, and to learn how to communicate properly to their dogs, to form better relationships between owners and their pets. With the recent and tragic passing of Maddie, John says he loves every dog he works with and is continuing to help owners of city dogs to find a better life for their beloved pups.
