Coolum Surfing School
On the glistening coastline of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Chris Kendall has been inviting guests to catch a wave at Coolum Surfing School since 2001. Having lived in the area since he was two years old, Chris developed a love for the beach from a young age, and spent his weekends surfing and competing at nippers events.
As he got older, Chris joined the Coolum Boardriders and advanced quickly with his ocean knowledge and confidence, becoming a competitive grommet. He later went on to become an open surfer and won the club championship in both 1997 and 2007. Chris says there's nothing like the feeling of catching a wave and is now devoting his life giving other people the same experience, riding the wave of his passion to transform his hobby into his business.
