Simon Ling first came to Carnarvon Gorge at the age of 11 and it instantly spoke to him lighting his sense of curiosity on fire, and the flames have yet to go out. In 1999 he created Australian Nature Guides to quench the thirst of visiting public wanting to know more about the Gorge.
Simon and his partner and fellow nature lover Michelle Whitehouse, now run tours through the Gorge to highlight the beautiful untouched landscape and to pass on their deep collective knowledge of the natural and human histories of the area.
