Tracey finally has her revenge

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Ice cold in this case. Or perhaps Tracey just finally came to the conclusion that she could never really trust Dean. Either way, after a truly tumultuous relationship, rocked by cheating, blindsides, boys’ nights, wife swapping and more allegations than anyone would ever want thrown their way, the relationship between Tracey and Dean finally came to an end.
In a field surrounded by beautiful white flowers and beaming sunflowers, Dean at last got to the point Tracey wanted him to. “I am pretty confident we are both going to have the same answer … and if I am completely wrong, I’d be gutted,” he explained, before addressing Tracey with a prepared speech.
“Tracey, thank you for coming along on this ride with me and making it this far,” Dean began with a deep breath. “From the moment I laid eyes on you, I thought you were beautiful and the moment I spoke to you, I could tell you were an intelligent and caring person.
Tracey told Dean she was grateful for the new experiences he had shown her. “You have made me feel alive, you bring out my playfulness and wildness and accept the parts of me I have battled with for so long.”
Just as Dean looked chuffed, Tracey added, “Then you quickly pulled me out of my romantic fantasy when you betrayed me. It was then I found out that love isn’t all sparks and butterflies.
“I have also surprised myself so much through this experiment – for staying and defending you and us and not kicking you to the curb. Thanks to the drama, I have learnt what love really is and could be. It’s pain, it’s sleepless nights. Standing before you is a woman who has understood you and your BS. Stuck with you through all your mistakes.
“I feel like you have met your match in me.
“This experiment has reminded me that when I love a person, I must not forget to take care of myself too.
“That I trust too easily.
“This experiment has shaken me awake and helped me see what I am worth and unfortunately Dean, you don’t deserve me.”
If you looked up the word flabbergasted in the dictionary, you would see the exact facial expression Dean had at these words.

“I have too many doubts to trust you. I want to believe you’ve truly changed,” Tracey added. “And with so much murky water under the bridge between us, I just can’t continue this relationship with you.”
At that, Dean turned and walked away. “I don’t know what to say … I thought everything was OK?”
“I’m sorry, I have to be true to myself,” Tracey said, wiping away tears. “I just feel like it’s too little, too late.”
“I just… can’t… deal with this right now,” Dean said, walking to the opposite side of the paddock as Tracey got back in her car and drove away, admitting she was broken-hearted. “Al I ever wanted was for someone to love me, and if he hadn’t betrayed my trust then I would have loved him back too. … But I can’t get over it. I’ve tried,” she cried.
“I just told her that I love her. I just committed my whole life to her and now… she’s just gone,” said Dean, stunned.
And with that, at last, the drama between Tracey and Dean is finally over.
… Or is it?
