It's Dinner Party four and at this point, I think we need to start naming them like we do storms.

Cyclone Brook, Hurricane Bec ... are we prepared for the incoming Typhoon Juliette?

After a starring role in all three so far, Bec is desperate to take a back seat and let someone else headline the chaos.

Considering Juliette and Joel's week, she's in luck!

However, there has been a weird turn of events. After refusing to do the tasks, speaking to him through a door and yelling that everything he does is a "performance", Juliette's woken up in a better mood.

One where she isn't completely icked out by her husband's existence.

She's returned to their apartment to hang out before they head to the festivities. Together.

MOOD. Nine

However, Joel is unaware that she's already blabbed to the rest of the group that he said he was "the star of the show", which as I'm sure we will see in a flashback played 50 times tonight, was not actually what he said.

Cocktail Hour

As the room fills up, Steven recounts how his insecurities are playing a role in his and Rachel's relationship.

Unfortunately, he is in conversation with Tyson.

"Bro, don't come across weak to your partner," Tyson says.

EXCLUSIVE: Tyson defends 'inappropriate' claims about ex

Thankfully, David is the other groom having to sit through this odd monologue about balls.

He throws a little shade Tyson's way AND gives Steven advice that doesn't sound like it's straight out of 1956.

Bec and Danny's arrival is deeply uncomfortable, and Bec and Gia each tell the cameras that they couldn't give a shit about each other.

That, during episode 20 of a season that has been 80 per cent focused on their feud, feels somewhat untrue.

Also untrue? Juliette's recounting of her and Joel's week.

"We're at this space now where I'm really happy with him," she tells Gia and Chris.

Stella tells Joel about the "star of the show" rumour, and he quickly realises she's twisted his words and told others about it.

"Is Juliette spreading misinformation about our relationship?" Joel asks.

Uh, yes buddy. She sure is.

Dinner Party

Poor Alissa and David keep finding themselves on the receiving end of backlash for no reason and this week is no different, after Alissa's bestie informed them Bec has been digging for dirt on Alissa from mutual friends in Adelaide.

While Bec wants to keep her head down, David is out to protect his wife's honour and immediately confronts her about it.

But Bec responds as if it's the most ridiculous thing she's ever heard.

To be fair, that is a great "huh?" face. Nine

"I'm currently on an apology tour and a truth tour and if I had done that, in order to not have an issue with you guys later on, I would tell you," she tells him.

"But I swear to you I haven't."

David doesn't trust a word she says but leaves it at that. There's a storm coming, remember?

It doesn't take long for the experts watching on to clock the awkwardness between Juliette and Joel.

After Joel's denial, Stella asks Juliette about the "star" rumour and she's very confident he did say that.

"He kind of cracked and looked at me dead in the eyes and said 'well, I'm the star!' " she mocks.

Of all the things Bec has heard at the table, I love that this is what's got her covering her mouth in shock. Nine

Joel's shook by how badly she's misinterpreted his nice little metaphor about being quirky.

"I feel like I'm talking to a dummy right now," she says, as he continues to deny it.

Juliette suggests she should've ranked him lower than fourth in the photo ranking and doubles down on calling him "devil eyes".

Not loving "devil eyes" as a descriptor!  Nine

The table is shook by how she speaks to him and quickly takes sides. Most of them, anyway.

"My gut's telling me I don't care," Rachel says.

We're not getting anywhere sooooo let's make like Juliette and move down the table.

Oh joy, to Steph and Tyson.

"I'm the gift that keeps on giving," he says of their week.

David interrogates Tyson's "submissive type" comments and he reiterates that he's after a woman who cooks, cleans and stays home with the kids.

Just in case we all forgot!

Alissa says women can do both: "Who says you can't!?"

The man sitting across from her, for starters!

It's time for some good news!

Chris tells the table he's about to be a dad and sure, the cogs in Tyson's brain are working overtime, but otherwise, it's nothing but love.

With Bec on her best behaviour, we have no choice but to circle back to Juliette and Joel playing the world's most toxic game of he-said, she-said.

"I think I've been holding my cool," Juliette says ... and then immediately disproves that to be the case.

She tells Gia about Joel's teddy bear, and Gia threatens the teddy's life in multiple ways.

Soon, the entire table is debating the impacts of stuffed toys on masculinity.

"I'm not married to a man," Juliette yells down the table.

Danny needs a job in crisis PR, because he immediately spins Joel's proud teddy ownership as actually a deeply manly thing.

"I ain't got the balls to do that. I'll fight anyone yeah, but I ain't bringing a teddy on MAFS!" he jokes.

Despite so much teddy defamation, Juliette insists she likes him more than Joel: "Teddy's not a c--- to me like Joel is."

EMBARGO 4/3/2026 9PM MAFS 2026 experts

An experts' jaw-drop for the history books! Nine

Joel asks whether she's just as childish for only speaking to him through a door during the week, but Juliette throws it back at him.

"You've created a deranged girl," she claims.

EMBARGO 4/3/2026 9PM MAFS 2026 Juliette

She said it! Nine

Watching on, the experts and the other brides and grooms are horrified by her cruelty.

"She was vicious to him," Bec says, and she even admits – she would know!

Despite a night of ridicule, Joel approaches to try to smooth things over with his wife.

Aaaand ... well, it doesn't work, does it?

She refuses to speak to his "stupid arse", and he's completely over being treated so disrespectfully.

And all this over a simple, misunderstood metaphor! English teachers everywhere, I'm so sorry!

On Sunday night, Juliette comes face-to-face with the experts, and judging by how hard John's furrowed his brow, it's going to be one heck of a wake-up call.

See you there.
