There have been many Married At First Sight participants over the years, but few have captured the nation's attention like Cyrell Paule.

In fact, "Cyclone Cyrell" is undoubtedly one of the show's most iconic brides of all time.

Since bursting onto screens in 2019's sixth season, Cyrell's returned to MAFS for the 2021 Grand Reunion event and made a name for herself on other reality series too.

During her current appearance in the jungle, Cyrell made headlines after butting heads with singer Deni Hines.

It began when Cyrell didn't recognise 55-year-old Deni. After learning she was a singer, she requested a song.

"No. Get out of here and listen to my s---," a frustrated Deni replied.

Unsurprisingly, Cyrell didn't love that response.

"It's not my fault that your mum's a bit more remembered than you are. It's not my fault that your mum's the one I remember," she said in a confessional.

That's far from the only time Cyrell's made a splash – so we've taken a trip down memory lane. Keep reading for her best, most iconic or shocking moments!

Cyrell becomes a mother

After MAFS, Cyrell started dating Love Island Australia's Eden Dally.

They faced allegations that is was a fake relationship, but the pair definitely got the last laugh as seven years on, they're still going strong.

In August 2019, just four months after confirming their romance, Cyrell and Eden announced they were expecting their first child.

It was a huge shock to fans, with the couple saying they were "bursting with excitement" while admitting it "wasn't planned".

Cyrell and Eden briefly split during her pregnancy, but got back together two months before their son, Boston, was born in February 2020.

Ever since, Cyrell's shared insight into family life with her followers – including the ups, the downs and lots of her trademark humour as well of course.

Cyrell has a fight with a llama

We've seen Cyrell fight with many humans, but never a llama – until one ill-fated task during her and Eden's stint on The Amazing Race Australia in 2024.

In Argentina, one member of each team had to dress a llama and lead it on a walk.

Cyrell found herself up against a stubborn, "bucktoothed" llama who definitely did not want to be dressed – and her struggles with it contributed to Cyrell and Eden being eliminated after coming last on that leg.

Cyrell confronts Sam for 'ruining a marriage'

It's one of the best one-liners ever uttered on MAFS: "You ain't king ding-a-ling!"

Cyrell directed the hilarious insult at fellow participant Sam Ball while calling out him and Ines Basic for their affair at a Commitment Ceremony.

"Please, the world doesn't revolve around you Sam! You ain't king ding-a-ling!" she yelled across the room.

Cyrell throws wine in Jessika's face

At the season six reunion, Cyrell had wine thrown in her face by Martha Kalifatidis – of course, that's another moment that's gone down in MAFS history.

Two years later, Cyrell tried the wine-slinging herself but this time, it was at another co-star, Jessika Power.

At the 2021 Married at First Sight Grand Reunion Event, Cyrell confronted Jess over claims she'd called her relationship with Eden "fake" and said their baby was for publicity.

Jess denied saying anything about Boston, who was then 10 months old, but admitted she had questioned the legitimacy of Cyrell's romance.

Cyrell was annoyed Jess wasn't owning it, leading to her hurling wine across the table.

Cyrell pranks Nic

It wasn't all fights and insults – Cyrell had jokes too!

Her most iconic came after husband Nic requested she cook him a traditional Filipino meal, which was fine, except that he also wanted her to do it in a sexy maid's outfit.

She obliged but as they say, revenge is a dish best served cold!

She planned a chicken curry, with a twist.

"I'm going to put the whole chicken in there, including the feet," she laughed.

After forcing him to try the chicken feet, she provided dessert, "orange jelly with whipped cream", except it was was really a goose egg covered in chocolate.

Cyrell's fruit bowl incident

There's always a feud or three during a season of MAFS. Not many of them reach the heights (or lows) of Cyrell vs. Martha.

It ended with Martha's wine-slinging at the Reunion, but from Cyrell's side perhaps the most memorable moment was when she stormed into Martha and Michael's apartment and confronted her over comments she'd made to her husband Nic Jovanovic.

All while Martha was mid-skincare routine, mind you!

"If you f---ing swear at me and scream at me one more time," a facemask wearing Martha said, prompting Cyrell to grab her dressing gown.

Producers jumped in to separate the women and ordered Cyrell to leave the room.

As she left, Cyrell threw a ceramic fruit bowl, smashing it to pieces on the ground.

She later apologised for becoming aggressive, but refused to take back her verbal insults.

Unfortunately, we also never got an explanation about why there were sweet potatoes in the fruit bowl.

Her fiery antics left her with the nickname "Cyclone Cyrell" and she's definitely known as one of the most memorable brides of all time.

After a rocky on-screen relationship, she and Nic broke-up before the final decision, agreeing they were better off as friends.

While Cyrell is engaged to Eden, who she shares five-year-old son Boston with, Nic married his partner Alex Caldwell in May 2025 and they are expecting their first child in May 2026.

Married At First Sight Season 13 premieres Monday, February 2 at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
