The hopeful weddings

Ahhh back to the days when we had peace – or as close as you can get to peace on this show.

We got glimpses of the hopes and wishes of each contestant before they married a complete stranger. Why does this feel like a lifetime ago?!

We're SO glad Mel could finally see what really happened when Luke forgot the wedding rings.

She certainly has a different reaction now.

"We've heard that story, but seeing it?!" Rachel reacted, gobsmacked.

Gia and Scott behind closed doors

Turns out, the self-proclaimed "power couple" had some trouble.

And in the video below, Gia was confronted with every single one of Scott's tears and frustrations as the cameras rolled.

It's a hard watch. Her reaction is worth the view alone:

Tyson's 'greatest hits'

Unsurprisingly, this video was full of controversial and outright misogynistic comments from Tyson that he tried to disguise under traditional values.

Thank god Grayson was in the room.

When Tyson tried again to justify his behaviour behind "traditional values," Grayson quickly jumped in to explain that "there's a difference between traditional values and a misogynistic view on women".

Mean Girls (MAFS edition)

We take it back. This one was a hard watch for the brides.

The experts were "disappointed" by (most) of the brides this year and were ready to hold them accountable – by playing back every snakey comment tracking all the way back to the bachelorette party.

To be honest, we forgot how dramatic the early episodes were (second Dinner Party, anyone?!).

Gia and Bec looked appalled watching back their behaviour.
