Watch: Awhina and Adrian come to blows as one of them confesses to cheating in their past on MAFS 2025
Confessions Week is meant to bring couples closer together, but Awhina and Adrian's latest task has torn them apart.
In a brand new challenge called The Ex-files, the pair were asked to dive deep into their romantic past.

As Awhina confessed she once cheated, Adrian's reaction caused tensions to boil.
What he said later to cameras however, was an entirely different story.

Awhina admitted to kissing a stranger in a bar in her early 20s. She said she told her ex straight away and they moved past it.
"No excuses. You shouldn't cheat and there's no excuses," Adrian made his stance clear.

Awhina made her case: "But I feel like it's so irrelevant to how I want to show up to a partner now, but..."
In Adrian's eyes, there were no "buts" when it comes to cheating. As Awhina tried to explain herself, the groom cut her off.

"You're not hearing me talk," Awhina defended. "I've done it, I'm admitting it and I just don't feel like a lot of people will."
To that, Adrian had one cold response: "A lot of people don't want to realise they were a s--t person."

Later in a piece to camera, producers cut to the chase: "Did you answer all the questions honestly, do you think?"
"Yeah I definitely did. I have nothing to hide," Adrian smiled.
This smile didn't last long. Nine
"What if I say I've seen your application?" producers asked him.

There may be no 'ifs' and 'buts' when it comes to cheating. But with Adrian's story, the lines were "somewhat" unclear...
"I've never cheated on anyone but as for breaking up and somewhat still seeing each other..." Adrian tried to explain himself.
"I might have hooked up with another girl in between but we weren't actually together."
Uhhh, seems... complicated?
