'Did that actually happen to me?' MAFS bride Bronte teases her explosive wedding night drama

Married At First Sight bride Bronte Schofield has revealed that she is still "in denial" over a controversy that arose on her wedding night.
Speaking to Today Extra, the bride explained how much the drama has impacted her as her big day is set air to the nation during Monday night's premiere episode.

"I have so much love to give and in that moment it's like everything just kind of fell from underneath me," she shared. You can see exactly what she said in the lead video above.
The controversy in question was featured in the promo released last week, where a furious Bronte reacted to some yet-to-be-revealed news on her wedding day.
"I really just had to think to myself, 'I can run or I can give this my best shot'," she added.

During the interview, the 28-year-old online beauty educator also hinted that there would be some sort of confrontation at her wedding.
"I'm a very fiery woman, I'm definitely not one that shies away from confrontation – I have boundaries," she added.

"Obviously when I got told what I got told... it was pretty much my worst nightmare."
She also revealed that what happened at the wedding still enters her mind today.
"I even think about it to this day and think, 'did that actually happen to me?'" she said.
"I'm definitely still in denial that it even happened."

It's unlikely the wedding will be the last of the drama we hear surrounding Bronte's relationship.
In the preview of MAFS, footage of the first Dinner Party showed fellow bride Melinda Willis noting some observations of her own regarding Bronte.
"I do have advice for Bronte – run, fast," she warned.
The first episode of Married at First Sight premieres tonight at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
