Ivan and Connie back Hayley after cheating scandal

When a cheating allegation was dropped at the Married At First Sight Dinner Party, Ivan and Connie had a front row seat as the participants involved had their say.

The duo appeared on Talking Married to discuss their reactions to the he said, she said debate that ensued that evening.

While Michael, who is married to Stacey, denied kissing Hayley, who is married to David, during a night out, Hayley confirmed it did happen.

Ivan and Connie told Talking Married host Shelly Horton they back Hayley's version of events.

"What does Hayley gain from admitting something like that?" Connie said. "His story changed a little bit — 'I don't remember, no it didn't happen, no I don't remember, it may have happened' — it doesn't make sense."

"I kind of believe Hayley," Ivan added.

Shelly also spoke to Hayley, who reiterated her version of events. "Was it cheating? I kissed someone, that's cheating... it happened," Hayley said.

But after the cheating bombshell dropped at the Dinner Party, Michael's wife Stacey backed her husband while speaking out against Hayley. Ivan and Connie said they were stunned by what unfolded.

"That was really hard to watch, seeing her defend Michael as if he didn't do it and attack Hayley as if it did happen," Connie said.

Ivan added, "I don't think it was right, it takes two to tango. They were both well aware of the situations they were in."
