MAFS’ Gia Fleur and boyfriend Alan Wallace surprised by sweet gender reveal

Married At First Sight bride Gia Fleur and her boyfriend Alan Wallace were very surprised to learn the gender of their unborn bub over the weekend.
Gia, 36, who is also mother to 10-year-old Willa, and Alan, 35, gave fans a glimpse inside their gender reveal celebrations, ending in a video revealing Gia is pregnant with a girl.

The couple shared a black-and-white video to social media, which turned to colour as they popped a giant balloon to reveal pink confetti.
The excited couple, and Willa, then celebrated with a sweet family hug.
But the family were especially surprised, as Gia, who is due in January, also shared a look behind the scenes of the party, revealing that she, Alan and Willa had all guessed she was having a boy.
Gia had even worn a blue dress to the festivities, but her hunch turned out to be wrong.
The controversial bride’s post received an outpouring of support from friends and fellow brides.
“Eeeee, born to be a girl mum,” Juliette Chae said.
“Another little princess, congratulations,” Rebecca Zukowski reacted.
Gia and Alan confirmed they were expecting their first child together to Woman’s Day on July 20, saying it was exactly what they wanted despite their whirlwind relationship.
“My first thought was, ‘Yay!’ because I have a 10-year-old daughter and I thought I’d never have another kid. I didn’t think I’d meet the right person I’d want to have another baby with,” Gia said of the moment she learned she was pregnant.

She and Alan, who starred in Stan reality series Love Triangle in 2023, met late last year after Gia finished the MAFS experiment, where her relationship with Scott McCristal dramatically ended in the final weeks.
It didn’t take the pair long to go “all in”, getting matching tattoos and moving in together.

“We were just on the same page from the start,” Gia said of their relationship.
“We both wanted kids. We just always knew what we wanted.”
Gia was still married to Scott on our screens when she dropped the huge spoiler that she was dating Alan.

And she didn’t just tease it either, instead emphatically calling him the “love of my life” in a TikTok of their new romance.
Despite making no secret of her new love story, Gia eventually apologised for the big spoiler during an episode of MAFS: After The Dinner Party.
While she and Scott started the experiment as a so-called “power couple”, Gia’s involvement in drama took a toll and they had a fiery break-up before Final Vows.
